Background

About me

I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer with 10+ years delivering production web applications across fintech, enterprise SaaS, and health-tech. Most of my hands-on work has lived in Angular and React, but I'm just as comfortable owning the NestJS API and data layer behind them when a product calls for it.

I started on AngularJS-to-Angular migrations for enterprise clients in Israel, then spent years building search and data-heavy interfaces in health-tech, a 50+ component design system in German-market SaaS, and real-time trading dashboards in fintech. Each step added a layer: first frontend craft, then performance and accessibility discipline, then ownership of the backend and architecture decisions that the frontend depends on.

I care about ownership in the practical sense: following things through, paying attention to edge cases, and treating production quality like it matters because it does.

Outside the day job, I’m drawn to financial-market products, systems design, and writing about the engineering decisions that are obvious only after they’ve caused enough pain.

Career journey

Senior Full-Stack Engineer · Self-employed

Apr 2026 – Present · Current

Freelance / Independent

  • Developing a personal full-stack web application using Angular, NestJS, and Nx Monorepo, applying micro-frontend architecture and Module Federation.
  • Conducting code audits and performance profiling on side projects, and exploring AI-integrated frontend patterns using LLM APIs.
  • Consulting on frontend architecture decisions and contributing to open source tooling.

Senior Frontend Engineer · Weltrade

Nov 2024 – Mar 2026

Fintech / Trading

  • Designed and delivered end-to-end trading platform features in Angular and React, serving active Forex and CFD traders with real-time market data over WebSocket streams.
  • Reduced React bundle size by 25% by auditing the dependency tree and applying code-splitting, improving page load speed for thousands of active traders.
  • Delivered WCAG 2.1-compliant trading dashboards through accessible component patterns, reducing the accessibility defect backlog to zero.
  • Co-designed REST API contracts with PHP/Symfony engineers, cutting backend integration rework time by roughly 30%.
  • Led frontend code reviews and architecture discussions, raising code quality standards across the team.

Senior Frontend Engineer · SKIY31 GmbH

Feb 2022 – Nov 2024

German-market SaaS · Agile

  • Led the migration of a legacy monolith to a modern Angular SPA with lazy loading and tree-shakeable modules, cutting application load time by 30%.
  • Built a reusable component library of 50+ components adopted across 4 client projects with zero regression incidents post-release.
  • Implemented reactive data flows with RxJS operators, improving responsiveness and reducing unnecessary re-renders.
  • Owned CI/CD pipeline setup on GitHub Actions, enabling multiple daily deployments with automated test gates and zero-downtime releases.

Angular & React Developer · Ally Inc.

Mar 2020 – Jan 2022

Health-tech

  • Built a health-industry search engine in Angular 11 handling 10,000+ records, optimizing virtual scrolling and change detection to maintain sub-200ms render time.
  • Converted Figma designs into production-ready Angular and React components, shortening design-to-production handoff and reducing QA cycles.

Angular Developer · Constant Technologies

Oct 2016 – Sep 2019

Enterprise SaaS · Israeli market

  • Delivered fully localized, bidirectional (RTL/LTR) Angular applications for Israeli enterprise clients, meeting strict WCAG and i18n compliance across 3 product lines.
  • Migrated legacy AngularJS projects to Angular 2+, improving application stability and long-term maintainability.

Front-end Developer · Vertigo Group Inc.

Dec 2015 – Sep 2016

  • Rebuilt the UI for a WebRTC telemedicine platform, contributing to a 20% increase in sales.
  • Developed an automotive marketplace web platform from scratch.

Engineering philosophy

Frontend systems

I enjoy shaping frontend architecture that stays readable under pressure: design systems, feature boundaries, state models, and the kind of decisions that make future work easier instead of louder.

Full-stack ownership

When a product needs it, I'm just as comfortable owning the API and data layer — REST contracts, services, schema migrations — as I am the UI. TradeForge, my current project, is built that way end to end with NestJS and Prisma.

Product ownership

I care about closing loops. That means tracking edge cases, smoothing rough UX details, and turning ambiguous requirements into work that can actually ship.

Key strengths

  • Frontend architecture — Nx monorepos, micro-frontends, and Module Federation boundaries that scale with team size.
  • Performance — dependency and bundle audits that have cut load times by 25–30% on production traffic.
  • Accessibility — WCAG 2.1-compliant interfaces shipped to a zero open-defect backlog.
  • Full-stack delivery — comfortable owning REST APIs and data layers with NestJS and Prisma, not just the UI.
  • Cross-functional collaboration — co-designing API contracts with backend engineers and converting Figma designs directly into production components.
